Winter Concert Information 2025

Winter Concert Information 2025
winter concerts 2025

We are excitedly getting ready to present our winter concerts for this year. All concerts will take place in the CES gymnasium. Grades 3-5, as well as 4-6th grade chorus,  will present their concert titled "Water's Children” on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 6:15 pm. The kindergarten, 1st graders, 2nd graders, as well as some preschoolers, will perform their concert titled "Snowmen at Night”  on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 6:00 pm

You should bring your child to school ten to fifteen minutes prior to the start of the concert so they can line up with their classmates.  Please drop your child off at their classroom so they can walk as a class to the gym.  It is expected that all students sit with their class for the duration of the concert.  At the end of the concert, the students will be dismissed back to their classrooms to get coats and wait there for you to pick them up.  If you have family or friends who are unable to attend but would like to see the show, they will be able to visit this page to watch the live streaming feed during our show.

Children should be dressed in their “concert best.”  That means students should wear dress pants or a skirt with a nice shirt or sweater or wear a dress. I am asking that your child not wear t-shirts with writing on them or worn jeans, sweatpants and other casual wear.  Also, don’t forget to bring shoes (no heels please) if you wear boots to get to school.  Becoming a performer requires the proper dress as well as the proper behavior.  If you are in need of concert attire, please call me as I have a few items I can loan. Nothing too warm because we do not need anyone overheating.   Do not feel like you need to go buy any items however, if you need something reach out as I may have some extra items to borrow.

If you know ahead of time that your child is not going to be able to attend the concert, please let me know.  It can be challenging for classes that practice with whole classes to have missing classmates and need to fill in for them. I will assume anyone who is absent from school on the concert day will not be there and anyone who is at school will be performing that evening.

I look forward to seeing you at the concert.  If you have any questions please call me at school 802-521-5710 or email me at mcloutier@lnsd.org.

Excitedly,

Marie Dunbar-Cloutier
Music Teacher
