Blast Off! 5th Graders Reach New Heights at STARBASE
Starbase Rocket Launch 25

Yesterday was launch day! 🚀 Our 5th graders capped off an incredible time at STARBASE Vermont by launching their self-designed rockets! They also explored flight simulators and learned through many hands on science and engineering activities. It's a Cambridge Elementary tradition, and we're so grateful to the STARBASE team for making it a memorable and educational experience.

Unfortunately, federal funding for STARBASE is currently running out, and the Vermont locations may have to close as soon as this week. Since 1994, this program has been providing excellent learning opportunities for roughly 2,500 5th graders across the state- including students at CES! You can support the STARBASE team by contacting Senator Bernie Sanders and Peter Welch's offices and encouraging them to increase funding for this program.
