Preschool Developmental Screening

Greetings Families and Community Members;

We are happy to announce that Cambridge Elementary Early Childhood Program is now accepting registrations for the 2026-2027 school year. The anticipated (not set in stone) schedule will have a four year old program on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00-2:00p.m and a three year old program on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00-2:00p.m. As a district, we are waiting on submission results from the district wide survey that was sent out and can also be filled out/accessed here.

Registration can be found at this website: https://www.lnsd.org/community/lnsdregistration . New students and their guardians must attend a preschool screening and preschool orientation prior to attending our preschool program. Preschool screening dates and times are as follows:

*Thursday, May 14th 2026 2:15-3:00p.m

Preschool screening is free, for children ages 3-5 years old and is a quick check of your child’s development; including motor skills (jumping, catching a ball, completing a puzzle), cognitive concepts (colors, shapes, counting) and language skills (speaking and understanding).

We will have a speech and language pathologist and early childhood special educator available for additional questions or concerns. Children will play, interact and at the end of the session, join in a brief circle time.
