Kindergarten Registration/Screening - 2025/2026

If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1st, 2025 and will be attending Cambridge Elementary School for the 2025/2026 school year you need to call Beth Brown at CES @ 521-5601 and sign up for a 1 hour time slot to attend kindergarten registration/screening by May 30th.
 
On (Thursday) June 12th, (Friday) June 13th, and (Monday) June 16th we will be hosting screenings for the incoming 2025/2026 Kindergarteners. This event will take place inside one of the Kindergarten classrooms. During your child’s screening time, they will be engaged in play with other incoming kindergarten students and will be screened by the kindergarten teachers, the school nurse and a school speech pathologist. This screening time is an opportunity for the Kindergarten teachers to meet and interact with your child. We ask that parents drop their child off with the Kindergarten teachers and return 45 minutes later for pick-up. Each session will be limited to 10 students. You must bring a copy of your child’s immunization records to the screening. We can make copies if you are only able to bring originals.

If your child does not attend preschool at CES or an affiliated ACT 166 preschool, please go to the LNSU website (www.lnsd.org) to register your child for kindergarten prior to their screening date.  Click on the "student registration" button and follow the instructions.

More information about registering your kindergartner will be given at your child’s screening appointment.
