The cookie jar people
Hopped out one night
When the cookie jar lid
Was not on tight
The coconut lambs jumped up so high
That their little white tails flew toward the sky
The Frosted Bunnies
Twinkled their nose
And danced around on their cookie toes
The Sugary Ducks began to quack
And shake the sugar off their backs
The Cinnamon Bears
Could only grunt
For they were too fat to do any stunts
The Gingerbread man
Opened raisin eyes
And looked about in great surprise
They were all so happy to be at play
That they danced and danced and danced away
They danced away so very far
That they never came back to the cookie jar!
CES kindergarteners presented their annual cookie play on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 1:20 PM! This theatrical production took place in the CES gym. You can watch a recorded version below.
