Community Lunch June

We are down to the wire. It has been a fun and extremely busy week here at CES.

I wrapped up my community service project this week with productive days of service at NCAL with Gabe R, Calvin M, Skylar H, and Lauren M and at the Cambridge community lunch with Silas H, James H, Emmett T, and Warren L. These service projects have been one of the highlights of my educational career as I have watched our students demonstrate themselves to be such hard workers and kind and caring community members! My hope is that this work will inspire them to live a life of service into adulthood. Many thanks to NCAL, Nanci Lepsic, and Muffy Howard for welcoming our volunteers with open arms.

I have also enjoyed helping Nanci this spring begin a new service project for fifth graders. This week I walked to the Varnum Library with RJ N, Kassidy M, Elliott M, and Avah T where we played cribbage and scrabble with local seniors. We had so much fun that I forgot to take photographs. I encourage you to bring your child to the Varnum Library if you have not done so already. It is a beautiful space with an exceptional book collection.

Here is a list of activities happening on Monday and Tuesday.

Enjoy your weekend!
