Empathy in Action: CES Students Hold Food Drive

Compassion is when you SEE someone or something in need, you CARE about the person or thing and then you DO something to show you care. 

Inspired by the realization that food insecurity is highest during the holiday season, 6th graders took the initiative to organize a school-wide collection for the Cambridge Food Shelf.

Thanks to the dedication of all CES students, an impressive total of 1,625 non-perishable items were collected. The second graders led the charge, with 325 items, and will proudly deliver the donation to the food shelf next week.
