COVID-19 Update from CES - 9/18/2021

Dear CES Families,

This morning we learned of a new positive case of COVID-19 in the CES community. Close contacts have been identified and individuals are quarantining.

I cannot stress enough the importance of keeping students home if they are not feeling well. I want to thank everyone who has been doing so as it helps to keep others safe.

As a reminder to all of our families, per the Vermont Department of Health and the Vermont Agency of Education, it is our responsibility to "identify all vaccinated and unvaccinated close contacts in the school setting."

All students who are asked to quarantine because they have been identified as a close contact through school will be provided with remote learning assignments.  Classroom teachers will be providing families with an overview of what to expect when and if this happens.

We will make every attempt to keep our school open for in person learning.  Again, thank you for helping us do this by keeping your children home when symptomatic.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Mary Anderson
