Balloons Over Broadway!
After reading the book "Balloons Over Broadway", the story of how the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade came to be, students decided to host a parade with their own balloons around our school!
The book details the true story of Tony Sarg- a puppeteer who started out making window displays for Macy's. Tony innovated and eventually created the designs for the large balloons that we look forward to seeing in the parade each year.
