Want a chance to boost your Holiday shopping budget while providing Lamoille North with important perspectives and input? Then join us Monday, December 12th, for a free, Community Conversation from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Community Education Center (CEC) at Green Mountain Tech.
The event, hosted by Lamoille North Supervisory Union, is an opportunity to engage with school administrators, leadership, and school board representatives from your community.
Adult community members who attend can enter a random drawing to win a (1) $150 or one of two (2) $50 Amazon gift cards.
The past several years have posed numerous challenges to which our schools have had to adapt. We also understand the pressures put upon our communities, parents and caregivers, and non-parents alike. While we continue to educate students in this 'new normal’, we want to make sure we stay connected to our communities. Your thoughts, questions, and input are vital to Lamoille North's success and long-term sustainability.
The evening will include small and large group discussions, interactive opportunities in the room, and presentations by LNSU students. Food and drinks will be provided, and childcare is available to those who need that support to attend.
Topics of the evening will include:
Opportunities and challenges facing Lamoille North Schools
Opportunities and challenges facing you and our communities
Social and emotional well-being of students and staff
LNSU programs, clubs, activities, etc
REGISTRATION HAS NOW CLOSED
Trusted high school students will watch children during the meeting, in a space adjacent to the CEC. Parents and caregivers will be asked to use a sign-in and sign-out sheet when dropping off and picking up their students, similar to all LNSU after-school sites.
The Amazon gift card giveaways were made possible by several anonymous donors. The three adult (18+) winners will be drawn at the end of the evening.
